Barron's , "How To Prepare for the TOEIC Test", pages 250 - 252. by Lin Lougheed (Paperback - March 2003)
Remember, my dear students…..I will be posting a different tip from time to time so check back to get the latest advice and information that can help you improve your spoken English dramatically!
Tip #2…..Make up stories.
Use your imagination.
Look around you on the bus. Who are those people? Where did they come from? Where are they going? What will they do this evening? What are they carrying? What will they do with what they are carrying?
Ask yourself questions about everything and everyone you see: How did it get here? Why is it here? What will happen to it next?
Make it personal. Always involve yourself. If you knew these people, what would you say to them? How would you get them to dress differently? Act differently?***********************************
Ok! That’s it! Short and sweet! Yes, this tip is simple, easy to understand AND it is very useful!
In fact if you follow this tip and use your imagination for only 15 minutes a day you will definitely improve your spoken English!
Of course, the more often you do it …the quicker your spoken English will improve! Let your imagination be an extra teacher and friend that can help you improve your English! Try it….. and leave me a comment about your experience. Does it work for you? Why or why not! Share your realizations with me….and the world! Ok? OK! Thank you!
See you next time with Tip #3 ..on how to improve your spoken English …..DRAMATICALLY !!!
Bye for now!
